Meet the Owner and
Designer
Hello! I'm Katie Lloyd, sole owner and the one-woman show behind Anthology On Main.

I was born and raised in Iowa, but now call Kansas home with my husband, two children, two cats and eight chickens!

Anthology On Main began in 2011 with a focus on small gifts and decor. Over the years I've found my passion for creating meaningful wedding flowers. There is immense joy in working with a couple to create flowers that go beyond a pretty look. We'll work together to infuse sentimental touches such as the favorite books of both the bride(s) and/or groom(s), creating bridesmaid bouquets or groomsman boutonnieres from each individual's favorite book, or incorporating the favorite flower or book of a parent who has passed away.

Sustainability
Anthology On Main is constantly improving the way your flowers are made and shipped.

As someone who aspires to zero waste in my personal life, it makes sense to carry these same practices over to my business.

All book pages used in the creation of your flowers come from used books and are sourced from businesses that practice charitable giving, environmental sustainability, and promotion of literacy whenever possible.

I use both compostable and reused/reusable packaging materials.
Packaging materials that are 100% compostable include the box, kraft paper filler, plant based packaging tape, plant based bags, and plant based packing peanuts.
All plastic packaging is 100% reused, including air pillows, bubble wrap, and conventional packing peanuts. I choose to use these plastic items as reuse is preferential to recycling.
Charity
When you buy from my shop you are also donating to charity! 10% of revenue from every single order is donated to local charities in the Kansas City area with a focus on helping children and women escape poverty and abuse.

The charity chosen for this year is Sunflower House, who provides therapy, legal counsel, and other services for abused children.
Past charities have included Veronica's Voice, Backpacks for Hunger, and A Child's Hope.
